Ugh, the same thing happened to me in the middle of my time reading the book. I was getting dressed and had the Today Show on in the backgroun - I know, major guilty pleasure. Just 5 days after the book was released they held an interview with J K Rowling and not realizing that they'd actually talk about the end of the book, I happened to over hear whether or not Harry lived or died. I was livid and started singing loudly to block out everything until I could get to the TV and shut it off. I was pissed and I think I freaked out my dog with the loud singing. It's still an amazing book, don't let it stop you from reading it. I do think that both internet and TV journalism handled the whole book release poorly. It was like dodging landmines if you're a normal web news consumer...
