My Wittle Wabbit Hat

It took me over a month, and I had to start over four times, but I finally finished knitting Stella a pink bunny hat. The pattern is from Stitch n’ Bitch Nation.

I was able to get a few pictures of Stella modeling the hat, just before she pulled it off and stomped on it. Because by the way, she hates hats. I thought maybe, MAYBE, if it was a bunny hat, she would wear it, but she wasn’t so impressed. I even tried wearing it for a while to get her excited about it, but it was a little too small on me.

Heres a view of the bunny face.

If you want a bunny hat, I’m taking orders. But for the amount of time it took me to make this, let me warn you–it’s not cheap!

Stella may not be impressed but I am. Both with your hat making capability and with Stella refusing to be a slave to fashion at such a young age!

Thanks Lacochran! She certainly is not a slave to fashion. She also hates socks, except when they are in her mouth.

Ha! A girl after my own heart. Well, maybe not about the sock munching. :)

If Larry knits one (and I need proof), I’ll wear the mf’er everywhere (except work) for a month.

@Stone: I would LOVE to see that. I would even be willing to provide you a tan, more manly version. However, Larry would not pick up a knitting needle and purl or knit a stitch to save his life–even if there was a global emergency and all clothing was eradicated and the only thing left was a ball of yarn. He’d just go naked.
